1. Booking & Payment

All tours must be booked in advance through our website. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. All prices are listed in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include VAT.

2. Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email upon completing your booking. Please check your spam folder if it does not arrive. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have entered a valid email address.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the tour start time will receive a full refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour, or in case of no-show.

4. Weather & Safety

Glacier Mice reserves the right to cancel or alter tours due to weather conditions, natural hazards, or any event that may compromise safety. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Participant Responsibility

By booking a tour, you confirm that you are in suitable physical health to participate and will follow all instructions from your guide. Participants must arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled departure. No refunds are given to late arrivals.

6. Equipment

All necessary safety equipment (helmets, crampons, harnesses, etc.) is provided. Guests are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, including waterproof outer layers and sturdy hiking boots.

7. Children & Age Restrictions

Children under 8 years old are not permitted on glacier tours. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

8. Travel Insurance

We recommend all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers outdoor activities, medical costs, and trip interruptions or cancellations.

9. Liability

Participation in our tours is at your own risk. Glacier Mice and its employees accept no responsibility for injuries, loss, or damage incurred during the tour, except in cases of proven negligence.

10. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings during the tour. Please leave valuables at your accommodation when possible.

11. Changes to Terms

Glacier Mice reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page and become effective immediately.

12. COVID-19 Guidelines

We follow all official guidelines from Icelandic health authorities regarding COVID-19 or other public health threats. Your safety and that of our staff is our highest priority.

  • Guests with symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath are asked not to join the tour.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone showing visible symptoms of illness.
  • Masks are not currently required, but guests are welcome to wear them.
  • We encourage physical distancing where possible when needed.

If your trip is affected due to a COVID-related issue (travel restrictions, quarantine, illness), please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule your tour or offer a flexible solution.
